The spring temperatures didn’t show up for race day, but the runners certainly did! Shown above, St. Joseph's pharmacy team braved the balmy weather as part of the Rx-etina team.
The 2018 Run for Retina Research held on April 8 was a success from start to finish, even with the chill in the air. Championed by the Spriet family, this is a race that our community looks forward to every year and an event that St. Joseph’s has been honoured to be part of for the past 17 years.
Thanks to everyone who participated in Sunday's race from runners to volunteers and organizers. Your support helps advance research at St. Joseph’s Ivey Eye Institute focused on genetic retina eye disorders, including age related macular degeneration - the leading cause of legal blindness in North America.
Your donation matters here because your support enables our researchers to uncover and develop new treatments for retina disorders and change the lives of people at risk of losing their vision. Thank you for making these innovations possible.
