Run for Retina Research is an annual race in support of life-changing research at St. Joseph's Ivey Eye Institute
Now in its 17th year, this inspiring event organized by the Spriet family has raised more than $540,000 to advance retina research that touches the lives of people throughout London and beyond. Nearly 30% of people over the age of 75 live with age-related macular degeneration -- it is the leading cause of blindness in North America.
Researchers at the Ivey Eye Institute are finding new ways to treat retina eye disorders and help preserve the precious gift of sight. This wouldn’t be possible without the support of those who participate in this race every year.
