Trooper Mark Wilson Ride
Join the 1st Canadian Army Veterans Ortona Unit as they host the 9th annual Trooper Mark Wilson Ride on Saturday, May 12, 2018. The motorcycle ride around the London area commemorates the life of Trooper Mark Wilson, a London native killed while on duty with the Canadian Armed Forces in Afghanistan.
Following the motorcycle ride there will be live music, a barbeque, and a memorial presentation at Parkwood Institute's Main Building.
Proceeds from the event will enhance the care and quality of life for elderly WWII and Korean War Veterans who reside at Parkwood Institute.
Location: Western Counties Wing, Parkwood Institute
Cost to Ride: $20 per rider and $15 per passenger
Registration is free for riders with $100 in pledges. Download your pledge form here and bring your pledges on event day. Riders with $100 in pledges should not register online.
Registration: 8:30 am – 9 am
Poker Run around the London Area: 9 am – 1 pm
Bands and BBQ: 12 pm – 4 pm
Memorial Service & Flags Presentation: 2 pm
Prize Draws: 2:30 pm – 4 pm
Event Concludes: Approx. 4 pm
