London, Ontario – One of Canada’s most beloved comediennes and political satirists, Mary Walsh, will be the featured speaker at the 4th annual Breakfast of Champions. The event will take place on May 6 at the London Convention Centre.
Best known for her roles in the critically acclaimed CODCO and This Hour has 22 Minutes, Walsh has been entertaining Canadians for more than 20 years, and is the recipient of more than 30 Gemini Awards and The Order of Canada. Through it all, she has battled alcoholism and an overwhelming sense of abandonment. Walsh will share her personal story of triumph over adversity and lend her voice to minimizing the stigma associated with those living with a mental illness and/or addiction.
